Todd Zhong 仲晏辰 Founder
B.A., Boston College
A native of Changchun, China, Todd has extensive experience in Chinese hockey. Before PolarSports, Todd was the cofounder and director of oversea operation for GoHockey, a Chinese start-up company dedicated to grassroots hockey development in China. He has also worked for Mailman Group and NHL China to help grow the game of hockey in China. Todd works closely with coaches and professionals in North America and Asia as well as the Beijing Hockey Association and the Chinese Hockey Association.
A graduate of Boston College, Todd played ice hockey for Wyoming Seminary in Pennsylvania. He is currently a coach for the varsity hockey team at the Hillside School in Marlborough, MA.

Matt Thomson Director of Hockey Development and Advising
Matt Thomson is a Reading, MA native who has worked as a skills coach for Chris Dyment at CDH for the past 5 years. As a player himself, he previously played at Reading High where he was named a Middlesex League All-Star, 2x Most Valuable Offensive Player, Boston Globe All-Scholastic, and DTC Player of the Year after leading the Division 1 level in goals. Matt then went on to play for the Islanders Hockey Club his senior year where he again led the league in goals. From here, he went on to play in the USHL for the Youngstown Phantoms, where he led the league in PP goals, and the Cedar Rapids Roughriders as well. After juniors, Matt went on to play for Northeastern University where he won two Beanpot Championships and a Hockey East Championship.

Ou Li 李欧 Co-Founder
B.S., Tufts University
A native of Beijing, China. Ou Li has played hockey in the United States since 2007. Along the way, He has played at Tier 1, Prep School, Juniors, and NCAA levels. He has also represented the Chinese U18 and U20 National teams internationally, while also competing for Beijing Shougang Eagles and Team Beijing in the Chinese National Ice Hockey Championship. After years of playing hockey both in the US and in China, He has gained comprehensive knowledge both as a player and as an observer of the struggles and roadmaps of being a hockey player in North America.
A graduate of Tufts University, Ou is pursuing a degree in Scientific Computing at Heidelberg University in Germany. Previously, Ou was a four-year varsity hockey athlete at the Noble and Greenough School.

Luna Hu 胡星月 Operations Manager
B.S., Hunan Univeristy M.S., Hanyang University
A graduate of the world-renowned Hanyang University with a degree in Global Sports Industries, Luna returned to China in 2019 and committed to the sports industry. She spearheaded the creation of lectures on Sports Management and other training materials regarding the sports industry for Vning Sports before joining PolarSports Sports. Luna has extensive experience in helping Chinese students study abroad. The combination of her expertise in the sports industry and experience in education helped her gain a unique insight into the process of becoming a student-athlete.
Luna is leading PolarSports’ operations in China coordinating with our Chinese partners, student-athletes, and parents. Her motto is: The goal wouldn’t be that far if you’re willing to be a part.
